Which way is forward?
A set of bodiless legs striding forward. Intentionally ambiguous, the two versions play with the metal materials of which they are contracted. Mimicking the texture of cast sculptures.
CREATION PROCESS
The steel version was created by welding over a bent metal rod. The layers of mig wire created a texture similar to sculptures cast from clay.
The Brass legs were shaped from a 30 mm brass rod, cut and welded to get the basic contour, then they were ground down and polished to the final shape.
