A metal sculpture of a human head made of welded steel rods. The rods are arranged in a geometric pattern that creates a sense of depth and movement. The sculpture is both abstract and representational, and it evokes a sense of mystery and intrigue.
CREATION PROCESS
A head mannequin was used to get the right shape, the steel was laid on top and welded.
For the triangle geometry, 6mm rods were welded with silicon bronze, giving a golden point at every intersection.
The half mask was created using a metal sheet, small sections were hammered into shape and then welded together, the edges melted off with the torch.
